The Grandfire Charcoal Tray enables gas-assisted charcoal cooking, combining the flavour of charcoal with the convenience of simple gas ignition. A Grandfire gas burner is used temporarily to ignite the charcoal beneath the tray. Once charcoal is fully lit, the gas burner must be turned off, and cooking continues using charcoal heat only.
